These non-graduated bars measure 1-1/8 inches x 1/4 inches, and they are designed to reduce both weight and cost. With its high-carbon steel, Yamaha's quality bar construction has greatly impressed Sweetwater percussionists; these bars are also treated with a special tempering process and finished in chrome so that they not only look great, but project a brilliantly bright sound, too. The YG-250D also boasts a nodal point support string with single pin bar mounting to help increase the sustain of each bar, and maximize the bells' resonance. Your Standard Bells fit securely into the built-in case, and the easy on/off lid hinge allows for more maneuvering and visibility while playing.
