Perfect attenuation in my solid-state FX Loop. Quilter Labs Aviator Cub. Makes taming the volume in the bedroom a joy.

I was specifically searching for a low impedance volume pedal to use in the effects loops of my amps. I run the 4CM with Comp/OD/DIST in front of the amps and modulation, delays, and reverb in the loop. I've used high impedance pedals in front of the amp before using both medal slider, string, and gear drive, and the string drives always wore out the fastest. From an engineering perspective, the Xotic pedal is beyond solid and honestly built better than any I've ever used! The slightly smaller size is perfect because it leaves a little space on the board. The action is smooth, it heels down nicely, the volume transitions from dead-silent (off) to max in an incredibly linear sweep with almost no noticeable jumps or degradation of tone. This is not only a testament to the excellent design of the pedal but also a reflection on my quality amps, so YMMV if yours doesn't have a quality effects loop.

Sure, it's more expensive than others, but has instantly earned a permanent place on my board because I can easily go from mosquito whisper volume to live performance level and my tone is totally usable wherever it's set! For home players, this is a must.

Oh, and it's red and looks cool!

Definitely worth the money but be forewarned that it's so good you might need to find space on your board, or like me, start looking for a slightly larger board for this essential piece of gear. Keep playing and have fun!
