I have used many a volume pedal over the years but this one tops them all. Super smooth, clean, built like a tank. Xotic is one of the best pedal makers for good reason. You won't be disappointed with this.

Excellent build quality, perfect tapering, ideal size. Very pleased with this pedal.

I bought this after having trouble with an Ernie Ball VP Jr. The Ernie Ball had issues with the string that was a major pain, would keep slipping, and replacing it was ridiculous. The Xotic is amazing, no more strings, super smooth, and made of quality materials. Owned for over a year now. It does what it is supposed to and should last years.

Very responsive, solid box, solid build, classy looking. Great size, too. Honestly a bit smaller than I had imagined - in a good way, though.

I've struggled with many different volume pedals in my 59 years on stage. Either they gutted my tone, or the travel and feel weren't to my liking. String drive pedals definitely weren't on my 'like' list. I looked at a custom boutique pedal but ruled out paying $400.00 for one. Enter Sweetwater... I navigated through several garden variety string drive pedals until I came across this Xotic pedal which has a gear drive. The price didn't break the bank so I ordered one with the 250k pot. To say I was thrilled would be an understatement! It's passed every test. Smooth as glass with a very even travel without sudden volume spikes. I also A/B'd it between pedal vs direct to my amp. My ears detected zero tone loss. It is built like a tank..no cheap plastic. And in spite of someone else's incorrect review stating that pedal resistance isn't adjustable, NEWS FLASH: It IS adjustable! The pedal is a bit smaller in length than others but at the same time, wider making it very stable. I have no trouble operating it with my size 13 shoe. While the company suggests having this particular pedal between the guitar and the pedals, I have it as the last device before hitting my amp's input. I prefer hitting all my pedals with full guitar signal. It works GREAT. Wiring is with cloth covered cable, hardwired and made in California. Go U.S.A.! If you need a reliable volume pedal, look no further than Xotic! And... buy it from Sweetwater!
