Put a Vintage 30 in Your Cab

NOTE: Speakers are non-returnable.

The Celestion Vintage 30 guitar speaker sounds amazing. If you're going to replace a speaker in your combo amp or cabinet, you want to be blown away. The Vintage 30 handily does that. Easily twice as loud as other speakers at the same power level, the Vintage 30 handles gargantuan overdrive with aplomb. Punchy lows, meaty mids, and a creamy, harmonically-rich high end make the Vintage 30 an excellent choice for your 4 x 12" cab, but it's also great in one- or two-twelve configurations. Put a killer speaker in your guitar cab - the Celestion Vintage 30.

There's science behind great sound

In the development of the Vintage 30, Celestion used Laser Doppler Interferometry to analyze the cone behaviour of an original Celestion Blue. They then formed a precise model of the vintage speaker's characteristics and applied it to the design of a new speaker using modern materials for greater power handling. Celestion determined that their H magnet came closest in performance to Alnico. This magnet was then combined with a new cone and coil assembly employing contemporary materials with similar mass and physical properties to the originals, only better suited to handling the additional heat generated by higher power amplification. If you want the vibe of a classic guitar speaker, but with modern robustness, you want the Celestion Vintage 30.

Reviews

Amazing tone
My MX412A cab sounded pretty good with the original G12E-60 speakers, but I wanted to upgrade so I switched them out for one V30, one Creamback, and two Greenbacks. The sound is just amazing, from the most intense distortion to the cleanest purest melodic notes. It even makes my Yamaha Pacifica sound almost as good as my PRS guitars. Just buy one, you won't be sorry.

Welcome to the standard of "EXCELLENT" speakers.
Don't compare this speaker to an Eminence Dv77. Instead, PAIR this speaker with an Eminence DV-77!! You metal side will thank you..
I knew what I was getting
I had experience with a Mesa amp loaded with Vintage 30's before. I wanted that tonal character for a different Mesa amp. Then I replaced that with an Orange head and it's fantastic. I like a the punch, the detail, and EQ of these speakers. Especially in an open back cabinet.
Fender Hot Rod dream speaker
These are an absolute must replacement for any Hot Rod Deluxe
I put these two n my 2x12 Deville and it was like I removed a wet blanket from my amp

Celebration Vintage 30
I popped this speaker in my Ampeg Reverb Rocket combo. It took the sound to a whole new level, superb. I highly recommend this speaker! If you are looking to buy one, see my good friend and top notch sales rep, Patrick Cavanaugh.
