Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology keeps your tubes healthy

It's a well-known fact that tubes wear out. Luckily, the Bugera V55 Infinium guitar combo amplifier's Infinium Tube Life Multiplier technology can greatly extend the lifespan of your tubes, saving you money and ensuring the integrity of your tone. This amazing technology actually monitors the performance of each of the amplifier's output tubes and maintains them at their ideal operating point for an evenly distributed load. Also, an LED next to each tube lets you know when they're about to die, so you can anticipate issues before they cause problems.

Modern features provide you with a wide tonal palette

The Bugera V55 Infinium guitar combo amplifer is definitely not a one-trick pony. Featuring a 2-channel preamp, you have access to both clean and high-gain tones. You also get a classic-style 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) with a presence control, allowing for plenty of sound-tweaking. Finally, normal and bright inputs let you match the V55 Infinium to your electric guitar's tonal characteristics in order to optimize your tone.

Reviews

Bugera V55 Infinium Amp
Received my Bugera amp on Thursday and used it for a big Amphitheater show on Saturday. Sound was amazing ! Super clean with only just a hint of amp noise on gain - not even noticeable during song. Super pleased with this amp!
Music background: Performing for 40 years; mostly bluegrass, country, folk rock & classic rock. Numerous bands over the years. The pic I shared is from a Georgia Players Guild performance at The Frederick Brown Amphitheater in Peachtree City GA July 10th, 2021.
ZZ Top Brown Sugar
Lots has been said about these Burgera amps. I've had two of the V22 versions. This is my first V55 version - which has the 6L6 tubes for that more fendery clean headroom sound. The larger cab gives some warmth to all of that. It does look kinda empty behind there -being it has one 12 inch 70 watt speaker. Consider the 60 watt fender DeVille which either gives you a 410 or a 212 and about the same size cabinet closure. ..Or the Twin reverb. I think Bugera wanted you to feel like you had one of these kind of amps. However at 55 Watts I would say it feels a little lacking if you compare it to those other amps. So don't do that! On its own it's great and totally nails that ZZ Top Brown Sugar sound with thick woody notes. I find the volume to be very tame on it. Plenty of headroom and takes pedals better than my Hot Rod Deluxe. The reverb on it is just okay it's not awful ..but it's nothing super exciting either. Bugera used a Hall Reverb chip on it and it does get the job done. I wish they would have used a spring reverb chip instead. Some have complained that the clean and game channel shares the same EQ, but that's no big deal to me. On initial fire up you may hear the highs to be a bit metallic and the lows a bit flubby. No worries, it just means the speaker needs to be broken in a bit. Once you do - it warms up nicely and the highs get their magic back pretty quick. I've heard it said that it takes about 2 weeks to break the speaker in real good. After that they say you won't want to replace it. Anyway

Some things that stand out:

Great Tube tone and volume
Looks classic and super sharp .. I have no problems displaying it in my living room.
Super quiet and no noise coming out of it.

Concerns:
You will swear this thing is bolted to the floor when you go to pick it up! lol - yes it's heavy.

Bugera is known for installing crappy tubes in these. Meaning they don't last very long so you better have a set ready. These amps are known to give you rattle, hiss and static right out of the box from bad tubes. I got lucky on this one and sounded great time the get-go. Best to buy this amp from an established retailer like Sweetwater in case you get a bad one.

That weight!!!
Music background: Pro & Teacher
Worked for me, but I made it even better than it already is.
I bought the v55 when it first came out, it worked for me, never had any problems. But I'm like Eddie Van Halen, I like to make things better. So I found a tube company online called the TubeDepot and replaced the tubes with the best Sovtek Russian tubes available. Now my amp is as good as my Mesa Boogie dual rectifier roadster. So that made me think, so I replaced the large power tubes in the Boogie with vintage ones. And now there is nothing better that I can compare it too, now I have two amazing guitar amps.
Bugera V55
I have had this amp for 7 months, I am actually writing this review to counter things float on the W.W.W. about this being an amp with cheap tubes ect... Don't expect the V55 to sound like a Fender amp, it is a beast of different wiring, tubes, speaker ect... 1st. The Turbo Sound speaker sounds very good after it's broken in. 2nd. as far as the tubes they are quite good, are there better tubes on the market yes there is, I've had no problems getting the tone I want out of this amp. 3rd. This thing is a beast when dimed out, it is an excellent pedal platform. It can go from sweet highs to deep growling overdrive. This the 4th Bugera I own and I have based my IMHO on this. Is it the right amp for everybody, nope. As far as tones go, keep in mind tone is subjective.
My only complaint about Bugera is they don't make an amp with 6V6s. Go and play one at your local store. As I said it's not for everyone. However, it can be for someone.
Music background: I have been playing since I was 17, I'm 70 now.
Another great Bugera amp
After owning the V5 W and V22 W Bugera Infinium amps and loving them, I decided to alter course from my current Orange solid state amp for gigging (which is great, but there is that certain something about a tube amp), and picked this one up from Sweetwater for a bargain price. I play mostly clean or edge of breakup, and use pedals to alter my tone and for OD. This amp's clean channel is spectacular, just like the V22, just a great platform for pedals. I tend to not really like the drive channel on most amps, SS or tube (or I just don't play loud enough to make them work), but this drive channel is actually not too bad at all, particularly with a drive pedal going into it. And I was surprised when I went to adjust the power down from pentode to triode that it came defaulted to triode, so this amp can get plenty loud with a lot of headroom! Love the Bugera styling and craftsmanship (my V22 was used/beat to crap but still works great), and the fact they actually include the foot pedal for the price, thank you! And not to mention, the tube life warning lights, and the tube self-biasing, these are killer features for a tube amp! Not many people are up for biasing their own tubes, and though I like to work on my own guitars and swap out tubes or whatever, I am probably not going to do that. For the money, I don't think you can get a much better clean pedal platform than this for a gig situation in a tube amp. I also use it at home at low volumes, and ABY it with the V5 W for gigs and home (which I set on a slightly dirty sound for a great stereo-ish quality).
