Awesome Octaver Action!

Create classic layered guitar tones with the Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 guitar and bass effects pedal. At Sweetwater, we dig funky tone machines such as the iconic octaver, and this Behringer UO300 offers this quintessential stompbox effect along with a few tweaks that make it easy to dial in perfectly. For starters, a 3-mode range control with Hi, Mid, and Lo settings lets you define the range of your instrument for optimal performance with guitar or bass. Also, the Ultra Octaver's independent volume controls for both octave voices as well as the unaffected direct signal lets you create the exact effect you're going for.

Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 Guitar/Bass Effects Pedal Features:
  • 3-mode octaver effect pedal that's ideal for guitar and bass
  • Creates 2 additional tones using your input 1 and 2 octaves below the original tone
  • Dedicated volume controls for all 3 tones offers complete sound mixing
  • Flexible 3-mode Range switch offers perfect bass performance
  • Runs on standard 9V battery or optional power supply for full pedalboard integration

Reviews

Nice! Octive and Sub-octive
Nice octive box, two octave, both are lower, no upper octave here. And, only 1 note at a time please. But is sounds really nice. I love playing Bass solos on my guitar, lol.. A distortion unit like the HD300 kills the ability to track the note, but it can still track with the SF300 ahead of it and it sounds pretty good! HD300 after the Octaver just sounds muddy.. As with ALL pedals, you have to experiment and come up with what works for you. For me, the SF300 feeding the Octaver works.
Simple and powerful
For $ you can't beat this pedal. I like it better than anything boss makes!
Check your power supply
I got this yesterday figuring so little to lose for $, assumed an immediate burn when I forwent installing a battery, and used a cheap 120vac-9vdc1kma plug in supply.....noisy as hell, just like many of the negative reviews.
Instead of being hasty, and knowing it was possibly the supply creating the noise, I tried a more expensive supply that I use with a drum machine and TA-DA, no noise, just clean, fat, nasty-in-the-best-way bass dope.
Maybe all the buyers with noise issues are reporting that they don't really understand what that dotted line symbol indicating dc output on thier power supply implies...

Behringer delivers a Big Bang for the Buck
This is exactly what I needed for my live set. It gives my acoustic that depth to compliment the live percussions and layers of loops and drones.
Music background: Experimental, Electronic
Best of the Bunch! These pedals are a great deal, & this 1 +
Went on a binge, spent a Benjamin and got a small board-full of these Behringer pedals. All of them are solid and recommended, but I really like this Octaver. It tracks great monophonically and has a several octave range where it really excels. Great for Zappa-style leads or low djent/metal lines. Serious fun for the price. And Sweetwater is the best binge, cuz' ya got pedals on your porch the next day!
Music background: Long-time guitarist. Keyboardist since, you know.
