Plugged directly into an open 1/4" PA input, the UK-1 produces a sweet, natural tone.
It installed with minimal difficulty, since I just had to loosen all the strings enough to wiggle the pickup under them. So much quicker and more affordable than a unit requiring pro level install.
Very happy I listened to a couple of recommendations and bought it.

I got this for an Ukulele with a thin tie bar, and it works great!

I play baritone ukulele and this works great! Easy to install and no worry of it getting broken as others have said. I dont play football with my uke! I have run it into the GT-40 amp and you can set it up with duel chores and other settings that just make it sound cool. People even said it doesnt sound like a uke rather a regular guitar! I am happy with this.

I just purchased this pickup for my dads Ukelele. It's sounds great and since its attachment requires no holes, it's makes it possible to change what instrument you have it on.
