Easy, Instant Upgrade for Your Studio

The ART Tube MP Studio V3 is a hybrid solid-state and tube preamp/DI box that delivers exquisitely rich and harmonically complex 12AX7A dual triode tube sound to any audio source. It uses ART’s proven V3 (Variable Valve Voicing) Technology, allowing you to select from various professionally crafted stock presets that instantly color its tone to suggested settings for many different sound sources. The Tube MP Studio V3 also utilizes an auto-gain function known as OPL (Output Protection Limiting) technology and an analog VU meter, making it a total cinch to set and maintain ideal levels. Finally, with both XLR and 1/4-inch inputs and outputs, +48V phantom power, variable gain up to +70dB, and phase reverse switching, Sweetwater studio engineers agree that the ART Tube MP Studio V3 is one of the easiest, most cost-effective ways to upgrade your studio.

Get fast results with V3

The Tube MP Studio V3 has a couple of features that make getting professional sounds so easy. First, by using what’s called Variable Valve Voicing (V3) technology, the Tube MP Studio V3’s presets help you get results faster by utilizing stock preamp settings designed for a wide range of sound sources, including acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, drums, vocals, and much more.

Safe, convenient leveling with OPL

In addition, the Tube MP Studio V3 employs Output Protection Limiting (OPL) technology. This auto-gain function controls output peaks in an exacting manner, in addition to protecting the next component in your signal chain from clipping. Coupled with an analog VU meter, the ART Tube MP Studio V3 makes it effortless to set and maintain optimal signal levels.

ART Tube MP Studio V3 Preamp/DI Box Features:

  • Excellent preamp for microphones, instruments, and other line-level sources

Reviews

Absolutely amazing!
I have owned two units for well over two years now. Both work very well. The EQ voices are superb. I use these in the studio and live for both my guitar and vocal rigs. It works great with guitar pedals too. Could not recommend enough!
Just gorgeous
This is like icing on cake. I run my Martin Acoustic through this along with the 5-band Pentatone PARAMETRIC EQ Pedal by Ibanez, also use the parametric midrange control on my Allen Heath Board. I have a K&K pickup with no Preamp. The V3 is plenty of Preamp and no Direct box is needed. So having 6-totals parametric EQ knobs and the V3 I couldn't ask for a better Acoustic sound. I dial it to the Acouric guitar setting on the right hand side. It's great like on records but for Live show. These things are not too dependable but sound great and are reasonably priced so when they go dead folks just buy another one.
Works great as an overdrive for guitar.
Think outside the box. This works great as an overdrive "pedal" for electric guitar.
This, a Strat and a Blues Junior puts you right in the SRV zone and when you back off the volume on your guitar you get
all the clean you want.
Music background: Playing since '64.
Real, actual Tube, or synthetically replicated?
Perhaps it's my ignorance about the terminology, but I'm not clear whether this actually has a tube in it, or something else...anybody?
Stopped Working After 2 years
I purchased this product 2 years ago and it doesn't work anymore. A total waste of money.
