A Top-shelf Classic-style Double-cut Guitar
The classic-styled double-cut Schecter USA Traditional got us pretty excited when we first heard about it at Sweetwater. Its alder body gives you a broad spectrum of complex tones, preparing you for pretty much any musical situation that you might encounter. A trio of MonsterTone pickups provides you with plenty of vintage-voiced single-coil tones, from lush, clean chimes to nasty, overdriven grit. Your fingers will dance for joy on this USA Traditional's supremely comfortable rosewood fingerboard. Whether you're chiming, twanging, ripping, or roaring, the Schecter USA Traditional delivers the tone you need to get the job done.
A familiar platform
All guitarists will appreciate the familiar lines, comfortable feel, and expected playability of Schecter's USA Traditional. The guitar's S-style body is sculpted to hug your body while playing seated or standing. The guitar's Eastern hard rock maple neck and rosewood fingerboard are incredibly stable and playable while imparting sustain to every note. The simplified single-volume, single-tone control layout is effortless to navigate. And you'll have total confidence in the guitar's smooth-acting vintage-style tremolo.
A trio of hand-wound pickups
Schecter pickups from the mid-'70s and early '80s have become highly sought after by players worldwide. If you're a tone-chaser, you'll be happy to know that Schecter is now making a complete line of custom pickups, including their legendary MonsterTone single-coils, all fastidiously hand-wound in the company's factory in Sun Valley, California. MonsterTone pickups epitomize the classic Schecter single-coil tone, popularized by Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler. Although these classic single-coils provide you with lush clean tones, they also heat up nicely when played through an overdriven tube amp. From chimey cleans to overdriven rock 'n' roll, the Schecter USA Traditional is your one-stop tone shop.
