I bought these speakers to downsize from my EV ZLX 12s, specifically for my solo gigs. The EVs are large and now a little beat up for upscale restaurants, but I also didn't want to spend a fortune. I have my EVs very dialed in w/ my digital mixer, and they sound great. I continue to use them for my band gigs.

I brought the Alto speakers to a solo gig, untested, with a little time to re-EQ if needed. The Alto quality, fit & finish, is superb. I have my mics and instruments EQed and processed as I like it for the EVs, with no EQ on the stereo mix output. I expected to have to make some mild tweaks on the mix buss to match my sound from the EVs, but they sounded great out of the box.

Bought two of the 10 inch model for my keyboard rig. Needed something with lots of headroom that doesn't color the tone of my boards. These were perfect - for gigs with a PA, they're great for monitoring and getting a ton of stage volume. For gigs without a PA, one is loud enough to push your own air (for a small venue). Tonally they are very transparent. The only issue I've had is that the 10 isn't big enough to really push organ bass.

I am a college professor who trains audio engineers. I wanted a small platform top cabinet that was flexible and powerful enough for most gigs. I do not regret purchasing the TS410 speakers. They are clean enough to cover my sonic needs and have have enough headroom to throw hard to the back row! Price point is amazing for such a powerful package.
