Great speaker but weak Bluetooth
Great speakers but Bluetooth needs more work.
Music background: Full-time musician Sitar-Player
Lots of power in a lightweight package.
so far I am very impressed by this speaker. It's light and small enough to carry and lift onto a stand but boy does it sound great. This speaker definitely punches above its weight. Farmers market season is coming up and it will see lots of use as the sound system for my solo act.
Very impressed
Just got a pair of these to use as floor monitors. Haven't done that yet, but I did take a listen to them. Very nice sound, excellent volume, good control of eq, dsp options, mixing, and easy and reliable Bluetooth for me so far. I own Yamaha DXR 12 tops which are certainly regarded as a step above the altos, but especially as monitors I can't conceive of a good reason to spend more for a higher quality speaker. And I think the powered 8in PA speaker format makes sense for a relatively small PA set up like I have.
