Whenever I purchase gear, I have an easy system for the boxes. If it something I purchased to replace a lost or broken item, I pitch the box. If it's something I am not sure about, I will keep the box until the next invintory. If it's made it that long is a keeper. Lastly, if it's something like this Triad system, nothing applies, I could see right from time I unboxed the gear that it is clearly a keeper. All the boxes are gone.

I just finished my hi-end home studio. I have easily spent $10,000 one it. Green Glue, Resilient Channels, Whisper clips and double layers of 5/8 drywall all the way around and above. It is so new that I am still waiting for the carpet to come in and get installed. I am very proud of it since I did all the work. After all that work, the struggle to find a microphone boom system continues. Over the weekend, I googled ceiling mount mic boom. Low and behold Sweetwater came up with the Triad Orbit
