THESE FIT AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL JAZZMASTERS
No where does it state this but these are an exact fit for American Professional Jazzmaster.

Great look. Great fit.
No more string trees
These are nice for the very reasonable price. I hate string trees so I put staggered tuners on all my strats and they work great. Locking ones are very cool but not a necessity, so if you're like me, save the extra cash and go for these tuners. Especially if you don't want to go off brand. I recently put them on my inherited Dad's MIM strat which is basically the predecessor model to the player series. Super easy install, no tech required, didn't even have to change the strings
Music background: I play for me
Lockers are overrated
Locking tuners are nice if you break strings a lot I guess but otherwise, I think they're overrated. These tuners have a gear ratio I like and are reliable. The staggered poles are a really great advancement, I decided to go without a string tree which makes the treble strings more slinky.
replacing the stock tuners on my 95 Telecaster was easy
I should have done this long ago, if only because I knew I should and had been putting it off for a decade. The fit was great, it was easy to get the old ones off and the new ones went right back on perfectly. The stagger was a new thing but honestly made no perceptible difference, might make loading new E and A strings a bit easier. When the stock ones do the job 28 years I feel confident that these will last as long and do the job as well, money well spent. I wonder what these would have cost me in $?
Music background: learning to play since 1970
Good tuners
Used on a MIM Tele, perfect fit. No loose parts, would buy again.
