Reviews

Great Vintage look
I bought a 70s roasted neck and wanted to complete the look. And these did it perfectly. This is my first set of these 70s tuners, and I really like them, since I am a fan of the vintage tuners on strats, these work the same way, but actually look cooler, IMHO.
Great tuners
I use these tuners on all my cigar box guitar builds now,They are good quality and hold their tune. I've tried other tuners but for the money these are the ones.
It is what it claims to be
For better or worse, I really like the 70's U-shaped strat necks, and when I recently purchased a new one, I though I'd go with the period-specific tuners as well. These are exactly like tuners on my 70's strat, and they work just as one would expect. They're also really easy to install, as the Fender replacement neck came pre-drilled for them. No complaints at all ... I like'em.

Works on other models too
Purchased for a renovation job on a copy Strat. Comes with tuners, bushes and screws. If it is to be fitted to a different model neck, the holes may need to be widened, carefully, as well as new pilot holes for the fixing screws using the tiniest drill bit. Lining them up was a challenge. You'll also need a tool for removing the old bushes.

Overall these Fender 70's F-Style Tuning Machines were a sight better than those it replaced. Fitting new strings were especially easier with the fitting slots, in which the string anchors and is then wound on as opposed to the wrap round only style. This is a big plus. It holds the tuning fairly well with a good nut and bridge setup.

Good value and well made.

Classic 70's Fender Tuners
These are the same tuners used on 70's classic Fender Stratocasters and Telecasters. High quality and include the bushings and screws to complete the kit. Use to replace old tuners or on a new 70's replacement neck.
