I bought this new Beyer V70d a year ago to replace my old 1980's vintage Beyer (which was great) that finally gave up the ghost, and it is amazing. Crystal clarity, very full range, strong signal, and a substantial, solid build. I have never heard myself better in IEMs than with this mic, and I get so many compliments from soundmen on how good it sounds. The difference between this and my SM58 is day and night. German quality and engineering. I really don't know why Beyer isn't a more common name in the US. Highly recommended.

I am very impressed with this mic. I was already a strong vocalist, but this mic has a sweet spot that lessens my annoying midrange inherited nasalness. Might get a couple more.

I have had a few mics. I have a shure microphone, and 2 Sennheiser mics (the e935 and the e945). Using this Beyerdynamic TG V70d makes me not go back to the other mics. There is no feedback from me using it and I love how nice and detailed my voice sounds coming out of it. This is definitely my favorite mic!!!!

I have Several and of different Years,All TG ,,80's-2000's,,from the X's to the new V's .This microphone has Old school 1" Diaphragm w/Superb Thickness,High Output w/0 Feedback,,I play and my whole Band Uses them!

Only the V70 has this 1" Diaphragm in the V's ,the only one I havnt trued is the v96c (Condensor) Just dont want to spend $... to find out,but the V70 is the Bomb You will be Amazed by the Sound Quality

Having used the 'industry standard' stage mic for several years, I tried this mic due to its frequency response and hypercardoid pickup pattern.
This mic works great, and the output is much higher than the old industry standard. No issues with feedback or resonant overtones on loud stages. Great low end response. A real winner!
