Long-scale Bass with Unique Tattoo Visuals

Looking for an affordable, smooth-playing, great-sounding long-scale bass with unique visuals? Sweetwater has your axe. With its laser-etched tattoo motif and Moon Phase fingerboard inlays, the Luna Tattoo long-scale electric bass definitely looks whimsical and eclectic. Plug it in and wrap your hand around the fast maple bolt-on neck, and you realize the TAT 34 is all business as its vintage-style split-coil pickup serves up a fat, punchy fundamental with the perfect amount of brightness and growl. Master Volume and Tone controls complete the setup. Hold down the low end in style with the Luna Tattoo long-scale bass.

Built for comfort and inspiration

Luna Guitars was founded on the concept of accessibility. Affordable, comfortable, and highly playable; Luna instruments are beautifully crafted to inspire the inherent creativity in musicians of all ages. Co-founded by a renowned stained-glass artist, Luna instrument designs are as unique as the people who play them — the "Luna Tribe." The confluence of music and visual art is what drives Luna. The folks behind Luna's design aesthetic are actual artists. Their designs are sparked by art, world culture, and nature — evident in the unique, delicate, inlaid or laser-etched ornamentation that makes Luna guitars so visually striking.

Reviews

nice bass for the price
i got one of these a few years ago. the price and how light weight it was got me. its really a good bass for the price. although, i did make some upgrades to it. most notably, the pick ups. basic as basic gets with those, i upgraded to some seymore duncan steve harris signatures and its been all smooth sailing since. i use this bass as a back up to my work horse ibanez talman and the luna is the bass i use when my band records. the price is set a beginner level, but you can get some professional sound out it, don't overlook this. I would put this above a squire bass any day.

another good thing about this bass is that its very light weight, the only issue i ran into was my strap would come loose every so often, but strap locks and repositioning the bolt fixed that. for fun, i did upgrade the volume and tone knobs, doesn't need it but i did anyway.
