8-channel DSP Mixer with XLR Balanced Outputs

If you've got a speaker system with line-level XLR inputs, such as the Bose F1, the Bose T8S ToneMatch Mixer is your ticket to eight Bose-grade mic/line channels and rich stereo DSP. As a mixer, the 8-channel T8S is beautifully laid out, with dedicated knobs for levels, mutes, and ToneMatch presets rather than endless menus — which makes it great for performers coming from an analog mixer environment. But the real magic behind the T8S lies in its ToneMatch technology and no-compromises DSP. Just tell the mixer which microphone you're using or what kind of guitar you have plugged into it, and the T8S optimizes sound for you on the spot. Performers can further customize their tone using channel-independent compressors, gates, EQs, and even a tap tempo delay.

Hundreds of sonic refinements — instantly

The ToneMatch audio engine puts Bose's largest library of customized presets at your command. These ToneMatch presets instantly optimize instruments at the touch of a button. Different presets can be independently assigned to each of the engine's four channels. For example, select the exact mic presets for the microphones you're using on channels 1 and 2, your guitar model for channel 3, and your bass model for channel 4 — all at the same time. Bose's engineers often work with manufacturers directly to expand the ToneMatch preset library, and updates are available to you for free with easy downloading via the built-in USB port.

Intelligent EQ and effects

Fine-tune your sound system with greater accuracy using Bose's intelligent zEQ system. It redefines low, mid, and high ranges for each ToneMatch preset. When you need to cut or boost specific frequency ranges for different instruments and mics, zEQ gives you the power. Globally assign one of five different reverbs to each mic/line channel. You can also choose from three delay types, 10 additional effects, and seven dynamics processors — and assign them independently to each channel.

Easy livestreaming

Additionally, the Bose T8S's built-in USB output allows you to stream your audio directly to social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Connect the T4 to your Mac or PC, and you will have access to studio-quality preamps, phantom power, and effects. Finally, the 6-band master EQ helps compensate for the ambient acoustics around you.

Magnetic mixer cover

For protection and peace of mind, the T8S ToneMatch Mixer includes a magnetic cover. This feature preserves levels from gig to gig and protects your T8S from damage on the road or at the show.

Bose T4S and T8S: which mixer is right for me?

The biggest differences between these mixers are the number of onboard channels and how they interface with your sound system. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.

Bose T8s. Best live mixer Period!!
I've owned and own many mixers, but this is the best live mixer for a band I've ever had. You don't need a sound man with this unit, and it's small enough to put on a mic stand shelf. The tone match is awesome my bass player and drummer always say don't touch anything settings wise. The jazz deluxe bass setting and kick drum settings are better sounding than I can dial in with my Allen and Heath qu24, honestly I can't get it as good. I'm not saying the qu24 can't do it, but it would take me forever and I've already tried for over a hour. The Bose is just better at live band self mixing then anything else. Heck for the cost infamous man for just a few gigs pays for this.
Also it has a 9/10 channel for expanding system with another mixer. I use my old Bose t4 into it which gives me 12 ronematch channels.
Every channel has tonenmatch, gate comp, delay, 2 different eqs, mod and reverb.

I want this mixer live always. It works great with line arrays or any PA…. I highly recommend this mixer!!!
Music background: Pro performer and studio owner.
Nice 8 channel mixer
Built for the L1 16 or 32 speaker system it has many settings for sound Works very well for a PA or music. Many settings for different setups
Music background: Sound Tech/DJ/Karaoke Host
Bose Tonematch mixer T8S
Really easy to get great mix! Adjusting on the fly couldn't be better!
Music background: Professional musician/singer
Don't have it but I have played on it
This thing sounds better than some huge, big stage speakers I've played on. And I play electronic music, too, so no guitars here, this is loud digital music! It's clear and loud and like, I'd get one if I could.
Bose T8s
Set Presets up identical to my T4s.
Sounds pretty close to it, sounds that I'm accustomed to.
Will give me flexibility to set up another instrument channel besides our two vocals, guitar & mic'ed congas.
Music background: Working acoustic duo.
