Perfect Partner for Your Subway D-800 Head

The Mesa Engineering Subway Neo 1 x 15" bass speaker cabinet pairs up perfectly with the Mesa Subway D-800 bass amp head, giving players the tone of a big bass rig with the benefits of a compact and lightweight design. Sweetwater bassists know how difficult it can be to lug a full bass rig to the show. Transporting the cabinet is a breeze thanks to aviation-style bracing and a custom-made Mesa Subway neodymium 15" speaker, which bring the cab in under 37 lbs. And the Italian poplar construction has Mesa's Tri-port front porting, ensuring your low end is much bigger than you'd expect out of a cabinet this size. The Mesa Subway Neo 1 x 15" bass cabinet is huge tone in a small, lightweight package.

Mesa Engineering Subway Neo 1 x 15" Bass Speaker Cabinet Features:
  • Lightweight bass cabinet for Subway D-800 bass head

Reviews

HEAVEN!
These Mesa Subway cabs are absolutely a game changer! From the design, all the way down to the looks, is just phenomenal! I LOVE IT! The lightweight aspect is a back saver for me. I am leaving behind my arena sized gear! This 15" cab is both punchy, yet crystal clear with the right amount of bass, and mids.
Mesa/Boogie Subway Bass Cabinet-400 watt 1x15" 8 ohms
I purchased the Fender Rumble Stage 800 combo amp with 2x10' and horn a year ago from Sweetwater. I was lacking some bottom end. I researched options and decided to spend a little more and invest in the Mesa/Boogie Subway Bass Cabinet 1x15". I discussed this option with Scott Julson my engineer at Sweetwater. We decided that this would a be a great option/addition. As soon as I plugged in, the sound was amazing! It has a full clean high. The bottom end is fat with punch and "rumble", not muddy. The guys I play with were amazed, you can feel there bass go through your body..
This is a great stack! Easy to set up, lightweight. Each cabinet is under 40lbs. With the pedal board, it takes only 5 minutes to set up. I really appreciate Scott Julson working through the options. His patience and knowledge were very helpful.

The Hype is Real!
All of the praise and reviews about the 115 are all true! This cab has the lows you would expect from a 15" but amazingly sounds great playing in the high ranges. Definitely a one cab does all if you can only own one…
PS: Huge shout out to Nate Kauffman! Great to work with and very patient with some of my indecisiveness, you are the man!
Best Cab I've Ever Used.
These cabinets are phenomenal. I'm currently running two of them with a Mesa Subway D800+ head. A beast of a rig that couldn't sound bad if I tried. These 15s give a great warm and big sound. Huge bottom end without being muddy.

They're great on their own, but even better with a Subway head. If you're a member on Talkbass, there's a great Subway thread where the designer of these amplifiers and cabs regularly interacts with the community and answers questions, helps with issues, etc.

This + subway800plus = Bass Bliss!
I haven’t used a 15 inch cab for over 15 years. Played this in a store and was sold. Using the mesa’s hpf you can go from DEEP punchy bass to pristine clarity. Even at very loud volumes. And I don’t know how, but this one cab at 400 watts is louder than my 2 old cabs at 800 watts. The amp’s feet also provide alot of isolation, so you aren’t turning your floor or stage into a big muddy mess. Saving up for the 112!! I included a pic to show that I rack mounted the head using a 2 space shelf. This is the lightest, best sounding rig I’ve had.

It's hard to imagine a more quintessentially modern guitar amplifier than a Mesa/Boogie, and when Sweetwater guitarists want high-gain tone, Mesa is where they start. One thing we love about these amps is their sheer versatility, such as the massive range of tone you get from each channel, the freedom to use the tubes you love, onboard CabClone cabinet emulation, and MIDI control. And it's not just guitar amps - Mesa/Boogie's bass amps and pedals are equally cool. What's more, thanks to our incredibly close relationship with Mesa, you can even customize your own amp right here on Sweetwater's website! Get the sound and style you want from your next amp, with a Mesa/Boogie from Sweetwater.
