Modern tonewoods carved to perfection
Each piece of wood that goes into the Streamer NT I is hand selected for beauty and weight, then carved to perfection. Solid alder makes up the NT Stage I’s solid resonant body. This underrated tonewood delivers warm mids, thundering lows, and sonorous sustain. The maple neck boasts a comfortable "C" profile and a neck-through design that enhances string vibrations, delivering resounding presence to enable the full potential of the solid articulation of the fretless tigerstripe ebony fingerboard.

Active pickups
The Warwick Streamer NT I features two active pickups and a powerful MEC preamp. These pickups offer versatile spreads of 5-string tones ranging from rumbling lows to mellow highs. Simply use the balance knob to dial in a core tone using either pickup (or both) and adjust the bass and treble EQ knobs as needed. These MEC pickups are wonderfully transparent and let the Streamer's tonewoods shine, but they also take well to driving tones for pop, rock, metal, and more.
In-house hardware
Making in-house hardware isn’t cheap, but Sweetwater bassists think you’ll hear the difference in Warwick's approach. The Streamer's proprietary hardware includes a chrome-finished brass nut and bridge. Brass delivers richer, clearer tone than other conventional nut and bridge materials, and is more inline with traditional materials used in brass instruments for centuries.
Warwick: a triumph of German engineering
Hans Peter Wilfer founded the family-owned Warwick brand in 1982. Since then, Warwick has spread globally with endorsers like John Entwistle of The Who, Adam Clayton of U2, Robert Trujillo of Metallica, Bootsy Collins, P-Nut of 311, and many more spanning any style you can imagine. Warwick takes pride in channeling inspiration from classic German instrument makers and marrying it with execution and production rooted in modern German engineering techniques. Warwick boasts worldwide recognition but maintains artisan output with only a few thousand Pro Series basses made each year. The forward-thinking company also takes pride in its eco-friendly measures. Warwick was one of the early adopters of FSC sustainable wood practices and even put its extra wood scraps to use as fuel for green energy on-site at its plant in Germany.
