Strata Detail in a Space-conscious Package

Timekeepers across Sweetwater are excited for Alesis to welcome the small-footprint and universally manageable Strata Club kit to its electronic drum ranks. A little sibling to the Alesis Strata Prime model, the Strata Club impressively retains plenty of pro-grade appeal thanks to numerous flagship engineering elements, such as its snare and tom shell physicality, mesh-headed playing realism, and a selection of full 360-degree, triple-zoned ARC cymbal pads. But this space-conscious kit prioritizes floor space, swapping in a sturdy 8-inch Strata kick tower for equal impact with greater room to spare. The Strata Club also sports its very own Core drum module, equipping a 7-inch touchscreen and a percussion onslaught packed with 75 preset kits, over 370 pieces, over 800 articulations, and over 144,000 individual samples — all powered by its BFD sound engine. You can mix, match, tune, and dampen to your heart’s content with an unlimited supply of user kits while mastering your chops with backing tracks, a metronome, Bluetooth, and more.

Rebound that’s as real as it gets

The Strata Club provides players with shallow physical shells for its 12-inch snare drum and two 10-inch toms. Dual independent zones for the snare drum allow rim shots, rim clicks, and extraordinarily expressive head response. In fact, the deluxe and tunable mesh heads outfitted across the entire Strata Club shell configuration promise professional-grade playability and ridiculously lifelike response. Plus, its 8-inch kick tower offers enough room to welcome your double-kick pedal.

This same praise applies to the Strata Club's assortment of top-tier ARC cymbal pads. One 12-inch crash cymbal and a 14-inch ride cymbal supply hardy 360-degree playing surfaces, moving and articulating just like the real deal with three playing zones for bell, bow, and edge percussing. Its 12-inch Active Magnetic hi-hat offers identical playing detail, but with magnetic position sensing for maximum precision while working in conjunction with your hi-hat stand. Strata Club responds with astonishing acoustic realism to translate your vibe with total comfort and confidence.

Hi-hat stand and bass drum pedal are not included.

Powerful, jam-packed Core module

As comprehensive as they come and carrying a massive sound library, the BFD engine–powered Core drum module is everything you want and need from a drum brain. The 7-inch touchscreen makes navigation a complete breeze, providing access to 75 preset kits from the factory and a limitless number of user kit slots. That’s a good thing, too, considering the Core module supplies over 370 kit pieces, over 800 articulations, and over 144,000 samples with detailed stacking capabilities and mix/FX parameters for conjuring any drum kit your mind can devise.

Beyond its sounds, the Core module offers connection points for control over USB and 5-pin MIDI, plus Bluetooth 5.0 and 1/8-inch TRS options make jam-alongs with songs and practice files over your devices painless. Record up to 32GB of percussion content, and take advantage of the included BFD player and expansion pack to let your creativity skyrocket. Plus, Alesis is tossing in a 90-day Drumeo subscription on the house!

A kit that’s here for it all

With its curved, 4-post steel rack system, the Strata Club boasts remarkable stability and the setup convenience to thrive in tight quarters. Whether that’s the home studio, a corner in your living room or bedroom, or a compact spot in the garage or basement, the Strata Club was built to bring superior electronic drum quality to smaller spaces. And the best part? Because its playing feel is so natural, the Strata Club is an excellent option for a wide range of percussionists, both highly experienced and new to the game. Transitioning from an acoustic set? Seeking out a quieter yet still high-quality solution? Embarking for the first time? The Strata Club is here for it all.

What is Certified Open Box Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call "Certified Open Box" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

Certified Open Box (also known as a demo) means we’ve had it out of the box for our YouTube channel, displayed at events, tested in our studio, or maybe it was in a customer’s hands for a few days and isn’t ‘factory fresh’ as a result. Every Certified Open Box item we sell has Sweetwater’s 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty and has been tested and verified up to ‘new’ specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it’s in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Certified Open Box item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Capable But….
I have been A Roland V-Drum player for years. This is my first time trying Alesis. To be honest, not my fav kit. The Module/Sounds are great. Easy ish editing and i like how many user kits you can create. Not overly compatible with Roland pads. But the Alesis pads work with Roland Module.
The cymbals including Hi Hat Are Impressive. The drum pads are ok. Responsive but not has well made as Roland.
I have had this kit for 4 months and it took me that long to finally be happy with it. The pads were either double triggering or mis triggering. I tried many things to fix….manual, youtube, etc….what i finally realized is the rack was the issue for me, too much vibration while hitting pieces causing too much crosstalk. So i got rid of rack and used regular drum hardware and that fixed the issues for the most part.

If you really like tweaking and editing everything, you may like this kit. It's definitely not a plug and play….sounds are very good!!
If you use the rack, make sure everything is Super Tight, this is just my experience. Especially if you are a hard hitter.

Excellent and compact E-kit
I've had my strata club for a couple weeks now. I absolutely love it. I don't think there's a better kit on the market in this price point. Very easy to set up and get everything sounding how you like. I ended up shortening a couple of the rack legs by a few inches to facilitate my perfect set up. 10/10 recommend.

Incredible! Until you want to record.....
This is by FAR the best feeling e-kit I've ever played. The sounds in the module are incredible, and there is a near endless amount of adjustments and tweaks to make your kit play and sound exactly how you want. That is until you want to use this kit to record..... specifically midi. It's an absolute nightmare to get anything working correctly due to strange midi mapping and an inability to change it within the module.
I almost feel bad for taking 2 stars off, because this truly is an outstanding instrument, but easy midi recording should ESSENTIAL, and for whatever reason, it's not.
