Incredible Stand & Company
I have two of these. They are the most massive, impressive, unfailing mic stands ever.

The guys at Triad-Orbit are funny, helpful, and they go above and beyond for customer service. Sadly, because it is almost impossible to lose or destroy these stands - you will only get to deal with them once or twice (probably when you buy a second stand) in your lifetime.

BTW, I also own two Latch Lake stands and they are great stands as well - but this is THE KING of mic stands.

Put this in your studio and watch people stare in awe at its mightiness - and then be amazed that your microphone will never move from where you set it. There are only a few pieces of musical equipment that can be honestly called the "best ever" - as far as mic stands go - these are those.
