The Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster takes its form from the vintage Starcasters of old, with the exception of the F-holes. Squier SQR ceramic pickups
The Contemporary Starcaster features two active ceramic humbucking pickups that are perfectly suited for crunching rhythms and searing leads. These high-output pickups give you clean highs and a fat, warm low-end. This axe hits your amp hard and sounds great with distortion. The onboard active electronics operate with a single 9-volt battery.
