The Pasadena neck pickup is great at achieving all the warmth and top-end detail of great vintage-era PAF humbuckers. The Pasadena Plus in the bridge was designed for Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Zacky Vengeance. It boasts a more pronounced upper midrange that cuts right through a mix. And the increased output is great for driving your amps or pedals just a bit harder.
Touches for modern performance
The Solo-II Custom does depart from a strictly vintage construction in many ways. Features like its Schecter locking tuners offer a level of tuning stability not matched by many older models of guitars. An Ernie Ball compensated nut keeps the guitar’s intonation consistent across the whole range of the fretboard.
