This Tiny Tuner Is Big on Features

The Snark Air is one value-packed little tuner! Of course, it tunes guitars and basses, but you can also use it with ukuleles, banjos, mandolins, and more. Courtesy of its bright, colorful LED display, you’ll always know when your pitch is flat (magenta), sharp (orange), or on target (green). Placing the Snark Air behind your headstock and double tapping the airplane logo reorients the display, letting you discretely tune during gigs. You’ll never need to replace batteries either, thanks to the Snark Air’s micro-USB charging capabilities. Sweetwater guitarists are impressed by the Snark Air's many features, especially considering that its price is "airy" on your wallet.

Snark Air Clip-on Chromatic Tuner Features:

  • Tunes multiple instruments
  • Bright, colorful LED display that’s easy to read: magenta (flat), orange (sharp), and green (in tune)
  • Can be placed on the front or back of the headstock for discrete tuning during gigs
  • Display can be adjusted to accommodate headstock placement
  • Micro-USB charging capability

Reviews

Great little tuner
It's solid, better built than the old Snark, rechargeable, easy to read. I saw the review on lefty and it has me stumped. Clipped to the headstock, it pivots around 360 degrees. I don't see how it wouldn't work for a lefty. I could be wrong, but like I said has me stumped. I wish I knew more how they used it.

It picks up E and even B easily. It's pretty sensitive, you need to mute the other strings sometimes because the sympathetic vibrations get picked up too. Muting is old habit though, just a heads up. It was inaccurate until I muted the other strings.

It is accurate. Tuning against my Peterson clip on, the "gold standard" of clip ons, and the Air gave identical results. Added a photo of both units to show. The Air is actually easy to read, I just used a bad camera angle. User error.

Good little unit.
Small size and rechargeable!!!
I have long been a fan of the Snark products. I really like the small footprint on this model. I also love that it is rechargeable. Sometimes I don't have the space on my pedalboard for a floor tuner. I know I can rely on this. I used it at a rehearsal this afternoon and it worked great. I like that you can swivel the display around and change the orientation of the display. It also clamps on to the headstock well and there are no parts that can be easily broken off. The battery gauge is well lit and easy to see. The display is nice and big and easy to see.

Very good
I just got mine yesterday and they are pretty good! I love that they are rechargeable and discreet and very easy to read BUT they can be a little bit off, I wondered if it was because they needed to charged more so I charged them to full then when I tried again they were still off, so I tried a free online tuner and the online tuner was point on, not saying this product is bad at all but it doesn't tune the string right
GREAT
SOLID TUNER. VERY VISIBLE EVEN OUT IN SUNLIGHT. RECOMMENDED.
This thing is awesome
I just recently got 2 of these and I love em! They're easy to read, bright, and discreet! Not sure how long each charge lasts but we'll find out.
