After my son moved back home, we had 7 guitars to store between the two of us. Bought this rack to conserve space and keep the guitars ready to play. Worked beautifully. Some have complained that there were no pre-drilled holes in the rack. It was no problem and actually made it better since I only put holes where they were needed. Make sure you have the correct drill bit and that it is sharp and the drilling was easy.

Super nice, sturdy, and if you have more guitars than space to put them in... It's a must have.

I've been using single guitar wall mounts for years, but they are spread out all over the wall and really don't let me display or keep them together. My Sweetwater engineer Matt LaMarche went out if his way to double check the design and sturdiness of the Levy's hanger. The installation is pretty straight forward, but keep in mind you will Need to drill holes in the base plate and the wall. I can't stress the need to mount it the wall studs, the last thing you want is your pride and joys to fall off the because you used drywall anchors. The set comes with five holders, but if your spacing is creative you can set them a bit closer and add one or two extra. Take Care and Rock on.

Overall, I am very pleased with the hangers. It took me some time to measure the wall studs to make sure the holes that I drilled lined up. I used a combination of the supplied screws directly into the studs and four heavy duty wall anchors four each 4 foot section. The slat strip hangers are well made and solid.

I had Individual hangers for my instruments that consumed half of my 10x13 music room. This put all my instruments on one wall....
Construction is great..... worked well....now I need to buy a few more guitars!
