A Capo with Rock-solid Intonation
Unlike inferior-designed capos, the Shubb C6b Dobro capo clamps firmly onto the neck of your guitar — not just to its strings. The result is great tone with loads of sustain. This capo’s patented over-center locking action ensures smooth operation and unrivaled ease of use. It aligns by touching the fret, not by eye, thereby making it fast and accurate. The Shubb C6b Dobro capo is made of plain, non-plated brass, giving it a vintage, rustic-like appearance. That said, if you polish it, it shines like gold. Small, stylish, and unobtrusive, the Shubb C6b Dobro is tailor-made for resophonic guitars.

Adjusting this capo is a piece of cake
The Shubb C6b Dobro capo is set up for 3/8-inch string action right out of the box, along with a slim neck. At Sweetwater, we’ve found that this works for most instruments. That said, if you have high string action (if it seems like the capo is working too hard to pull the strings down), simply unscrew the screw that attaches the Dobro piece. Then rotate and reverse the Dobro piece so that its height is 7/16 inches and reattach it. As for extra-thick necks, all you need to do is rotate the capo’s black rubber sleeve a quarter turn, and it’ll fit like a glove. These capos have remained popular for nearly 40 years. Try one, and you’ll understand why.
