Wish I Had This Years Ago!
Provides great balance and support. So great to have the weight of a tenor or an alto off my neck!
Music background: 50 years saxophone, tuba, drums.
Game changer for saving the your back and neck!
I'm an older beginner, and I was starting to wonder if my neck and back would be okay over the long haul. After shopping around for alternatives to the standard strap, I gave this a try. It's a total game-changer! It distributes the weight of the sax across your shoulders and down your trunk rather than pulling your neck forward. I have high confidence that I'm not as likely to get hurt anymore. Highly recommended!

One note - if you're a "person of size" (I'm 5'10", 220lbs), get the XL. The medium is too small to be secure.
Music background: Jazz, classical
It´s the best tool
I found the information about this device on YouTube. As with other brands or products, people comment on the pros and cons of everything. I chose this one because I like how it works.
One important thing to keep in mind is this: if you are a big person, this is for you. I am 1.85m tall and have a broad back, so the XL size was great for me. If you are smaller and don't have a very broad back, I recommend buying the medium size.

If you are hesitant to buy this, don't go on with it. Buy it, it is excellent for alto and tenor saxophone (I have only tried it with them) and I feel very comfortable!

Jazzlab saxholder is an incredible product!!
I've played Bari sax for many many years now, and only in the last few years have I found this. I suffered with migraines after playing due to the weight of the sax on my neck. Most harnesses have been terribly uncomfortable as they aren't exactly made for women.
A friend turned me on to the saxholder, and it has given me new life as a sax player. I no longer get neck pain, and the three points of contact do a great job of dispersing the weight of my old Bari sax.
Some reviewers complain of being unable to sit while playing tenor or Bari. I find this to be untrue, they simply haven't adjusted the shoulder braces to fit the offset needed to play to the side. The shoulder braces are made of aircraft aluminum and can be adjusted and readjusted repeatedly. I adjust mine to fit each shoulder individually so it disperses weight accordingly, once you find that sweet spot, it supports SO well! I really thought for a while that I was going to have to give up Bari for tenor, with the arthritis in my neck after years playing, but this harness changed everything! Best $ I've ever spent!!

Jazzlab neck strap
Works well for my aerophones. I play straight soprano which take a bit to get used to. The string connecting hook presses on octave key thumb unless you elevate soprano. I believe a bent neck soprano would eliminate problem. That being said,I do use it with soprano elevated. I can't use for tenor because I play seated. All weight of tenor is focused on one of shoulder straps which creates problems. If your standing with tenor in front,it would be fine. I bought mainly for Roland ae-30pro,where it shines.
Music background: Played Selmer mk 6 for 65 yrs, Yamaha yes 62 for 44 yrs and aerophones for 7 yrs. I play an average of 80 assisted living gigs a year
