Reviews

Great pickups
I have used these in several headless builds with the last one going to an accomplished jazz player. They are great for either crystal clear cleans to paint peeling distortion. Highly recommended!
Music background: Multi instrumentalist
High output
I always use quarter pounders in my custom partscasters. Exceedingly high output and clarity opposed to humbuckers, with a single coil profile.
Music background: Life long guitar
Muscular and toneful
I added two Quarter Pound pickups to a guitar that has an EVH Frankenstein bridge humbucker. Now its an HSS guitar that is superbly balanced and will shine from clean twang to hard rock. The neck pickup even sounds good with my limited vocabulary of jazz chords. I chose the Quarter Pound pickups in part because I wanted a middle position strat pickup that would have plenty of muscle for rock chords. I am just getting started exploring the versatility of this pickup combination.
Music background: Hard rock and American roots music
amazing upgrade
I put one each of these in the neck and bridge and an SSL5 in the middle and my Classic Vibe 70s Strat is a different guitar. And yes it can chug.
Yep
Kicks as advertised
