Load in. Set up. Be Heard.

Portable speaker arrays, such as the Mackie SRM-Flex, have made it easier than ever for musicians, performers, and speakers to provide their own sound for concerts and events. Mackie's latest 1,300-watt array system weighs in under 30 pounds, stows in a hatchback, and loads into a venue in just one trip. Together with the 6-speaker column array and 10" LF driver, the SRM-Flex is able to pump out impressive full-range sound that remains full and articulate for acoustic instruments, bass and keys, vocals, and even wireless Bluetooth playback audio. So whether you're having band practice or jamming along to backing tracks, the SRM-Flex won't let you down. Adjustable (Stackable) columns allow you to direct sound directly to your audience's ears; we at Sweetwater found it fast and intuitive to dial in a great sound by adjusting the columns and using the SRM-Flex's hands-on controls and voicing presets ("Speech," "Music," etc.). And for users who want greater control or remote access, an iOS/Android remote app is also available. If you're playing or speaking to audiences of around 100 strong and need dependable and highly portable sound reinforcement, be sure to check out the Mackie SRM-Flex Portable Column Array PA System.

Portable sound for up to 100 listeners

All performers, DJs to acoustic duos, can dramatically reduce their setup time using the Mackie SRM-Flex speaker array. This all-in-one PA system packs enough horsepower to serve audiences up to 100 strong, with powerful lows, clear voice reproduction, and wide coverage to keep your listeners engaged.

6-channel mixer with reverb

Right on top of the SRM-Flex's LF driver you'll find a streamlined 6-channel mixer with XLR, 1/4", and Bluetooth/aux inputs. The two vocal/instrument channels give you hands-on 2-band EQ and reverb sends — assignable to one of three reverb types — so you can dial in your sound in a hurry. Simple level controls on the other two channels allow you to balance backing tracks or insert a soundboard feed. You also get remote control of these features and more using the iOS/Android app.

Small, stackable design

The SRM-Flex tucks easily into a corner of a conference hall, concert venue, or house of worship for unobtrusive live sound reproduction. The stackable columns allow you to direct sound right to your listeners' ears, whether seated or standing.

Includes shoulder bag and dust cover

An included hands-free carry bag and cover let you pack in and pack up your SRM-Flex in as few steps as possible, all while keeping your system protected in transit and on the road. For this reason and more, if you're looking for convenience out of your next PA, it's hard to top the Mackie SRM-Flex speaker array.

Reviews

AWESOME BUY!!!!
I bought this system 6 months ago for our ministry to do worship/out reach/ & out door worship & acoustic events between 100-300p in our community. So far this system has really exceeded my expectations! The sound quality is great, the ease of use is free at, very light weight and easy to set up. I really enjoy the blue tooth connectivity and the app as well. In addition, I have also been able to run an additional 3 to 4 monitors as well as my behringer 24 channel mixer if/when needed without any issues. Highly recommend for churches, worship bands, acoustic & patio set ups!

Great for solo artists playing small rooms, that’s it
I've had this product for a little over 6 months now. I purchased this to make life easier for setting up and tearing down, it's done the trick there.

Pros: I like the app for this unit, the tone is pretty good, set up and tear down is fast, very light weight, I like that it came with the protective covers, the adjustability is of the tower is nice and there is minimal feedback.

Cons: only really is 2 usable channels, claims to be 1300 watts but isn't nearly as loud as the EV evolve 30m, very light weight (yes that's in the pros section as well, it tips over if you even brush into it).

Summary: if you're a solo musician playing one instrument and singing, playing to smaller rooms (50 people max) this thing is great. Anything beyond that and this unit is lacking. I'm upgrading to the evolve 30m this week because I need the flexibility of more channels, I need the additional headroom and the low end on the EV evolve 30m is far superior to the mackie. You also get way more EQ control out of the EV. Like I said though if you want something light and easy to set up for smaller rooms this is probably a great option for you, especially at that price
Music background: Professional musician, solo acoustic performer
Works well within its' limits......
I wanted more bottom and something more on the light side (weight wise) for senior centers. This fits what I do quite well. I've found it to be out of it's element in a crowded, NOISY bar (I had a friend drag in my RCF Evox set up to get above the crowd..but I had learned something: LOL.) It does exactly what Mackie promotes it to do: About 100 people in a relatively quiet audience is where it is comfortable. Setting up is very fast and I like the virtual mixer app. The virtual mixer is simple to use and you will dial in pretty quickly (No, it is not Yamaha's Rivage series w/all the bells and whistles: It's mainly for solo acts but w/a mixer would be fine for a duo, IMHO.) I'm glad I purchased it, but don't expect this little fellow to have enough horsepower for Friday night at the local sports bar.
Music background: Working musician
For rooms less than 100 people, it is perfect!
I use this all the time in senior homes using tracks. Most of them are 20-60 people in a large room. A few are outside, and some even have theaters on campus. This has been perfect for all of them. One place did tell me it was a room of 70 or so and it turned out to be a theater of 150. Had it not been a senior home, I doubt the SRM would have been a good option. But the softer sound requirements of older people made it fine. Being able to stand in front of the system, hearing what THEY are hearing, makes this one priceless! allows me to have tight control over the volume and levels.

The phone app/mixes is also great to make minor adjustments during a show without walking over to thebase and turning my back to the room to do so. I only need 2 inputs, for my tracks and my mic. I tried to use a small Behringer 3 channel mixer before using the app and it severely muffles the sound quality. I couldn't believe the difference when I plugged directly into the base. So if technology scares you, bite the bullet and figure it out! Using the app on the phone is SO worth it over a mixer.

It's easy to carry around. As an older woman, I can easily pick up the base to load in an out of my car. 30lbs may sounds like a lot- but it really isn't. And I LOVE the handle on top build in! it's like picking up a carry on! It doesn't take up much space either. I strongly suggest getting the carry cases ( if they are not included) The cover for the base keeps it from getting dinged up or dusty when in storage between shows. And the column pieces, which are fairly delicate, could easily be cracked, dinged or damaged trying to transport without the padded travel case. With base and column of the SRM and a wire bag (That also holds my tablet, mic, clamps for the tablet too) I "Could" carry it in and out easily. But I also have a stool, a weighted mic stand and a fan, so my rock & roll cart is a blessing!

I'm not getting into the specs. This review is for the non teckies. If you are doing rooms of 100 or less with either tracks or a solo instrument and vocals. This is a good solid system. The sound clarity is amazing. The bass is rich without being boomy, and the system is compact and light enough to transport easily. I also love there is a green light in the top of the column to let you know when you have all the pieces inserted properly.

Highly recommended!

Love the Functionality
Use it at least once a week and am very impressed with how I can have one iPad using Bluetooth for two applications. I'm able to use my Soundpad to play my music cues and efx. It shares a split screen with SRM FLEX Connect where I can control the levels of the sound and my microphone. Has great power and set up at my weekly gig is down to just a few minutes. Mackie has made this unit right!
