The Saramonic SR-C2003 audio input adapter has a USB Type-C connector on one end and a 3.5mm TRS input jack on the opposite end. Small and might. It's ADC is way better than many beefier-looking cords.

If you want to record line out from your synth to your Mac's daw, this is the only game in town. Low noise.

I needed one of these adapters so that I could get a direct audio input into my Macbook. This adapter does exactly that.

Many "cheap" alternatives from big box retailers do not work at all. I know because I wasted my money on a few. I'm so happy I finally found these. I wasted so much time looking elsewhere. Never again. I will come back to Sweetwater for any other audio-related purchases.

By the way, do not use this adapter for audio *out*. That is not what it are for, and it would not surprise me if it didn't work, although I have not tried.

Like the headline says this adapter only supports audio IN, not audio OUT, which to be fair is stated in the full description, however the title name is rather confusing. This didnt work for my use case but thats my fault for not reading througly, not the products.

I recently bought 3 of these to use with my iPad Air, and they will not transmit any sound to a 1/8" cable. For some reason, only the adapters you get through apple will work, according to other reviews and technical support that I read about these adapters. I will be sending these back
