The best sub snake available

The Pro Co SMA sub snake is very good durable quality. The connectors are very sturdy and strong and can withstand the road well. The box is all metal and recessed with room to add tape to label the inputs. The raised edges worked great to colour code the sub snakes with spike tape. I purchased 4 of these and colour coded them (red, orange, pink and green) for easy identification for my patch crew for fast change overs. The 50' length is perfect and ideal for most stages and reaches our front-of-house snake head perfectly. They also offer a lifetime warranty! This is a great product and I will be purchasing more for sure! My Sweetwater Sales Rep makes all our purchases easy, and fast!

Great Design, Rock Solid Performance

These drop snakes are an absolute must have for any sound engineer. I have owned many snakes over the 30+ years that I've done live sound professionally, and these 50', 8-channel models are without question the best and most convenient design of all that I have used. They are also very well built and extremely durable. I currently have 4 of them that get used at least 4 days per week, all year long. The oldest model is now approximately 5 years old and still going strong after countless gigs. Outstanding gear at a great price. Couldn't ask for more.

Stage engineer's best friend

The 8-channel sub-snake is one of the most handy tools available for keeping the stage organized and relatively clean. This is the second Pro Co SMA 8-ch 50' I've bought from Sweetwater, and after two years the first one is still going strong. As of this writing, the photograph shows the older model, but the one I received last month has been slightly redesigned.

The numbers are now more easily visible on the outside of the box, as opposed to the older version with the numbers printed on the inside edge of the box. This makes them easier to see on a dim stage. Also, the fan-end cables are now color-coded by pair. Other than that, it's the same rugged, reliable snake it has always been.

A clean stage is a happy stage.
