Reviews

Amazing bass strings!
The strings live up to the hype!! I've been playing my first set of Stringjoy bass strings (signature, nickel, rounds 45-130) on my Sire P7 5-string for several weeks and I can say they're my favorite strings!

To give a little context, I've been playing bass for 30 years. I currently use D'Addario chromes (nickle flats) on my Jack Casady and Rotosound 66 swing bass (nickel rounds) on my Fender PJ. I ordered another set of the same Rotosound strings for my 5 string (130) because I live the tone, but it did not translate well on my Sire, which was surprising and disappointing to me. I hated the tension and muddiness of the B string!

I finally decided to try these Stringjoy strings. For me, they're absolutely perfect for my Sire P7 5-string. The tone is amazing. The sustain is incredible. They feel great. And after playing for a couple hours day, these string hold a tune after only 2 days. The B string is much less wobbly, beefier and holds a tune no matter how hard or soft I press on the string. I'm reluctant to say it, but these strings combined with my Sire cut through the mix 100X better than my Fender PJ. *I won't compare it to my Jack Casady bass because I use it for entirely different applications and tone.
