I am playing metal/doom and I added these on my p bass for C standard tuning. Works great, just some light sanding to widen the nut slots. Tension is great at C standard, I think it would be crazy tight for standard E tuning. Sound is great with a pick or fingers, much brighter than typical flats.

What a difference these strings make. I am a beginner player. But these strings make my practice time more fun and enjoyable, so much more comfortable. And you dont get that obnoxious noise sliding up or down the strings. I wont foget to even mention how they sound so much better.

These are beefy strings with an awesome tone and feel. Of course, I'd expect no less with Steve Harris's name on them. They deliver.

Bought them as a gift, but overall they're a great product, my brother plays bass in a Iron Maiden cover band so they come on great for his performance and has been using them quite a time now. Plus they came in in a short time so that's an extra win.
