As part of the JBL Synthesis Custom Loudspeaker (SCL) line, the SCL-5 delivers unrivaled sonic performance as an in-ceiling LCR or surround channel speaker in medium to large rooms. This premium-caliber in-room speaker features an angled 7-inch Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast-frame woofer and a patented 1-inch Teonex annular-ring diaphragm compression driver, a configuration that provides consistently smooth performance for off-axis placement up to 60 degrees from the listening position. Moreover, the SCL-5 features a large-coverage High-Definition Imaging (HDI) horn, precision-molded from Sonoglass. Engineered for seamless integration, the SCL-5 is timbre-matched to all SCL speakers.
