As part of the JBL Synthesis Custom Loudspeaker (SCL) line, the SCL-2 delivers unrivaled sonic performance in medium to extra-large rooms, whether you place it in horizontal or vertical orientation. This premium-caliber in-room speaker features three 8-inch Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast-frame woofers and a patented 1.5-inch dual Teonex annular-ring diaphragm compression driver. This 2.5-way network configuration circumvents lobing and other acoustic issues associated with more traditional speaker designs. Moreover, the SCL-2 features a large-coverage High-Definition Imaging (HDI) horn, precision-molded from Sonoglass. Engineered for seamless integration, the SCL-2 is timbre-matched to all SCL speakers and has internal connections to facilitate bi-wiring or bi-amplification in more complex installations.
