Customer Reviews
Not great for floor tom legs
I'm currently in search of locks for my Yamaha RC, AHM and Sonor Vintage series floor tom legs. Sonor makes a vintage series lock but of course they're not easy to buy and they don't come with the kit. I mean why would it for thousands of dollars. Yamaha on the other hand comes with nothing. Again, why would it, you're only spending a fortune.
Now the problem, this memory lock is too bulky for both of these brands. You can't slide the floor tom leg past the bottom rim of either drum. They need something that's more flush and less bulky. I had read in a forum that the Pearl locks work but he must have had thinner legs because I also have a Pearl masters kit and they're too small for the legs of the Yamaha or Sonor.
