SuperAnalogue Mic Pres for Your Dante Network
The Solid State Logic SB 32.24 Network I/O stagebox enables you to add 32 top-flight SuperAnalogue mic preamps to your Dante IP audio network, as well as 16 analog line outputs and eight channels of AES3 digital I/O. This 5U rackmountable unit performs equally well in broadcast, live sound, and recording applications, allowing easy deployment of mic preamps and speaker feeds wherever you need them. In addition to redundant RJ45 Dante network connections, this stagebox also includes a user-configurable SFP port. Individual signal present, clip, phantom power, global PSU, and Network A and B indicator LEDs provide at-a-glance confirmation of your settings. Need to add more I/O to your SSL Live rig? Brimming with flexible I/O
Here at Sweetwater, we're blown away by the flexible I/O SSL baked into the SB 32.24. For starters, you get 32 SuperAnalogue mic preamps, 16 analog line outputs, and eight digital inputs and outputs on four AES3 I/O pairs. The unit houses a pair of redundant RJ45 Dante network connections, plus a user-configurable SFP port that can be fitted with RJ45 or optical connectors. The SFP ports perform admirably as network extenders, or they can supply network separation for a gain-compensated Dante split, for connection to a second Dante-equipped console or another Dante-compatible device on a different network.
