Big Texas Tone!

Soulful, rich, articulate and smooth, Billy Gibbons' big fat Texas tone has been described as "hot, blue, and righteous." Dunlop developed Reverend Willy's Strings in collaboration with Billy himself-aiming to make strings that offer a real punch and still stay articulate and clear when performing his legendary leads and pinch harmonics.

Every set of Dunlop Strings come packaged utilizing three levels of moisture protection and sealed in a VCI Fresh Technology (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) bag to guarantee that your strings arrive as fresh as the day they were made.

Great Strings But....

I love Dunlop Strings! I have been using regular nickel Dunlops for awhile and decided to try these because I am a huge Billy Gibbons fan. Anyway, I think these strings are just as good as regular Dunlops but not better. They also cost more and don't come in a sealed package. They still get a 5 star rating from me though. Great strings but....I would just get the regular ones. Either way you won't be disappointed. I think Dunlop strings are the best.

Tonight I am playing with my new Tony Iommi SG. The sound was not right, so off with the strings. On with Rev. Willy's strings. What a difference! Rev. Willy's strings are better sounding strings then any strings I have ever used, and also less expensive! Crisp, pure tone with excellent sustain. You need to try them to find out for yourself! I doubt you will ever see any less than five stars on these strings!

Love These!

I'd been playing Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkys for a few years on my tele before trying the Rev Willys 9s. I really liked the Ernie Ball strings, but when I tried the Rev Willys, that extra high end and sweet tone convinced me that I'd be using these strings for quite a while.

Great tone!

I use the super fine 7-38 gauged version of these strings. These strings sound great. I use these on my Fender esquire and Stratocaster. I prefer the super light gauge for easy bends and vibrato. The best part is, although these strings are light, I have yet to break any of them while playing.

Great strings!!!

Put these strings on my Fender Squire Telecaster and they sound and feel great!!! You can tell they are a little lighter string and they are easy on the fingers.Would recommend these strings to anyone!!!!
