To do this, Adams reinvented the base. The frame features a locking mechanism that holds the kettle in place; simply uncouple the kettle from the frame with a single click and store it away. Not to mention, the frame itself folds, locks, and can be carried with the built-in handle. To reattach the drum, simply slide it back into the frame and push the pedal down to lock it in place. Given its ability to perform without its pedal mechanism, the Revolution translates excellently to Baroque styles — especially when fitted with a calf head.
