Using a 5th-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm in conjunction, the RS 5 provides a 50% boost in torque over the previous model, ensuring speed and premier stabilization quality for walking, running, and fast-paced movements. Even fine-tune each step with an integrated Z-Axis Indicator for a truly professional sheen.
As far as the battery is concerned, you’ll have plenty of juice to film content all day long. The RS 5 supplies a longer run time than the RS 4, with 14 hours of standby time at its disposal, backed by 60% faster charging to achieve full battery potential after only an hour. If your setup requires even more juice, DJI’s separately sold RS BG70 High-Capacity Battery Grip can extend your standby time up to an incredible 30 hours.

Lastly, when it’s time to pack up, the RS 5 uses 2nd-Gen Automated Axis Locks to automatically lock the gimbal when powered off and unlock when you power it back on, creating travel-ready security and keeping your capturing settings ready to engage as soon as you need to start rolling.
