Rocking Electric with Oil-finished Neck and Seymour Duncans
The Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 is a hard-rocking player’s dream axe. This built-to-rock electric features an all-poplar body with a sleek gloss finish for a stage-ready look and rocking vibe. The X Series Rhoads from Sweetwater has a comfortable, oil-finished 1-piece maple neck with a compound-radius laurel fingerboard that is designed for hours of comfortable, lightning-fast riffing and power-chording. In addition, a pair of Seymour Duncan Blackout humbucking pickups lets you dial in all the scorching, crunchy tone you desire. And with a recessed Floyd Rose Special tremolo, you have access to great effects and tonal styling to fit your unique playing.
Optimized fingerboard provides comfort and serious speed
The Jackson X Series Rhoads laurel fingerboard is one of the fastest, thanks to its 12"–16" compound radius. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless low-action, high-speed runs with monumental string bends. In other words, it’s unbelievably easy to switch between rhythm and lead playing on the X Series Rhoads.
Explosive tone from Seymour Duncan pickups
Seymour Duncan pickups have become a favorite among rock and metal players for their tone, powerful output, and versatility. The Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB-1B humbucker in the bridge position and the AHB-1N humbucker in the neck position pack a ton of scorching tone that can be modified and experimented with to get that perfect sound that you are chasing for each and every song. They pack plenty of bark and bite and clean up nicely when you roll back the volume. A 3-way toggle switch plus master volume and tone put you firmly in the driver’s seat of these twin engines of tone!
