Elevate Your Home Listening Experience

Make the most of your home theater, gaming, or music setup with the superior projection and authoritative sonics of the Klipsch RP-8000F II floor-standing speaker. Part of Klipsch’s renowned Reference Premiere series, each RP-8000F II speaker tower comes equipped with two 8-inch Cerametallic woofers to elevate your listening experience with rich, dense, low end and punchy midrange. A cutting-edge 1-inch titanium LTS vented tweeter then supplies a superior level of high-frequency detail, aided by the smooth and articulate response of the Tractrix horn. You also get a Tractrix port that grants ultra-efficient air transfer from the cab for a deeper bass presence. Lastly, Klipsch’s RP-8000F II speakers come primed to offer sweeping flexibility, boasting full Dolby Atmos compatibility (via hidden connections on the back panel) and bi-wiring/bi-amping capabilities. A thoroughly modern-looking furniture-grade cab completes the package, bolstering both the sound and the aesthetics of any room.

Spun-copper Cerametallic woofers

To provide the most full-bodied low-frequency reproduction possible, each Klipsch RP-8000F II tower brandishes two thumping 8-inch Cerametallic woofers, offering a cavernous bass response down to 35Hz. Sweetwater’s home audio experts champion Klipsch’s Reference Premiere-series Cerametallic woofers as the peak of Klipsch’s driver design. Why? From living room gaming rigs to home theaters to music rooms, Klipsch Cerametallic drivers deliver a supremely full-bodied listening experience with minimal distortion and next-to-zero cone breakup.

Titanium-dome LTS tweeters and Tractrix horns

Housed inside every Klipsch RP-8000F II speaker is a 1-inch titanium-dome LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) tweeter. These tweeters maximize dynamics, ensuring a hyper-detailed sound that's never shrill or harsh. The RP-8000F II also includes a Tractrix horn, arming you with unrivaled high-frequency response and extension, along with spot-on directivity. Finally, Klipsch RP-8000F II towers feature a Tractrix port on the rear of the cab, elevating your bass response and taking your listening experience to fuller, more powerful heights — just be sure to keep your cab placed slightly away from your wall to experience their full sonic depth!

Great Towers For All Around Use. A Lot of Value For 1K
I recently purchased these Klipsch towers at a great price from Sweetwater. My objective was to replace my home theatre mains, Infinity R263. The RP 8000f ii are a definite upgrade to home theatre depth and energy. I'm also using them for music listening now and I like what I'm hearing. They deliver the usual Klipsch detail and clarity with some good, punchy base response from the dual 8 in woofers. You may want to take a little care in placement and keep them at least a foot away from the walls. Hitting the sweet spot is not hard to do with the wide dispersion of the Tractrix Horn.

These are very sensitive speakers and you don't need an expensive, superpowered amp to drive them.
I use a Sony STR-DA3500ES for Home theatre, and a Rotel 980bx through a Parasound p/hp 850 preamp for music listening. But honestly, you could drive these just fine with entry level electronics. So go ahead. Grab a set and enjoy!
