High-torque Direct Drive Turntable with Performance-focused Features

With its powerful, brushless DC motor, the Reloop RP-4000 MK2 turntable delivers the precision performing DJs need. Now in its second generation, the RP-4000 MK2 direct drive turntable features a redesigned top panel and metallic buttons for a robust, reassuring feel. You'll have impressive control over your turntable thanks to its reverse play and pitch reset functions. And when you're playing in a dark club, simply press a button to extend the aluminum targeting light to see your exact needle position. Complete with a universal connection for pick-up systems, plus a pre-mounted OM Black pick-up by Ortofon, the Reloop RP-4000 MK2 is ready to perform.

Innovative tonearm with universal connectivity

DJs at Sweetwater dig the statically balanced tonearm on the RP-4000 MK2 turntable. This S-shaped tonearm features hydraulic lift plus an anti-skating mechanism, rewarding you with ultra-smooth performance and stable tracking. And thanks to its universal connection, you'll be able to work with a huge number of different pick-up systems.

Powerful motor with precise control

The quartz-driven direct drive motor in the RP-4000 MK2 produces impressive torque — more than 1.8 kg/cm. Choose from three playback speeds — 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm — with the touch of a button. And for pitch adjustments, you can select between two ranges — +/-8% or +/-16% — while a handy Reset button is ready to instantly revert to the original pitch.

Extendable needle illumination

When you're driving the party in a dark club, you need every needle drop to be precise. With the RP-4000 MK2 turntable, you can simply press a button to extend its aluminum target light. You'll be able to drop your needle where you need it every time, even if there are no lights in the booth.

  • High-torque (1.8 kg/cm) direct drive turntable
  • Redesigned top panel and robust housing construction

Build and feel like technics

This is the best turntable you can get for the price.
Feels like you play on technics.

Fantastic High-End Turntable for Non-DJs

Although I've migrated towards using controllers and live performance tools, I still need a good turntable to play and sample records. I've always liked Reloop's products and I was leaning towards the RP-7000 but ultimately decided to save the $ and go for this one instead. The build quality is good- not quite Technics 1210 or even what I imagine the RP-7000 offers, but good enough since I'm not juggling, scratching or doing pitch blends. The sound quality out of the box has been impressive. I do wish it came with a cover but you can get one from SW...

Look elsewhere

This turntable like many other turntables on the current market is labeled as "Super OEM." They are all of the same design dating back a decade or more. No matter how much you spend, you are getting the same cheap manufacturing made by overworked Chinese citizens.

I had this as a backup for two Technics 1200s from the 1980s. What do you know, I had it for about 4 months and used it twice and it's dead.

After spending 3 hours taking this apart to see if the RCAs got pulled out of the board, no matter what, I found build issues that make Fisher Price toy turntables look like a gold standard.

Just go buy an old Technics. For a $100 repair bill every now and then depending on your usage, you can't beat it. Repairing this is a pain. You might as well just rebuild the thing.
