That's why every drum size in this Reference Pure shell pack is built from a custom blend of woods for the best tone and performance: all-maple 10" and 12" toms for warmth and balance; 13", 16", and 18" toms with added mahogany plies for a powerful, controlled thump; and a pair of 6-ply mahogany/2-ply maple 22" kick drums for punch and thunderous low end to fill a room. Lastly, the plies are formed in high-temperature molds with 1,000 PSI of hydraulic pressure to create drum shells with remarkable tone, vibrancy, and strength.
