Pearl’s Reference series of drums is the patriarch of all modern hybrid drum sets, and Papa’s got a brand-new bag: the Pearl Reference One! Building upon the original Reference series EvenPly shell design that maximized each drum’s wood, shell thickness, and bearing edge angle, the Pearl Reference One also adds groundbreaking new shell and mounting hardware. The R2 Air Tom Suspension System mounts each drum according to four points, which gives you pristine resonance and tone from any angle. Pearl Mastercast Die-cast Hoops are also onboard, delivering incredible projection and attack. Pearl Reference One drums are also a delight to tune, thanks to Pearl’s self-aligning Single Swivel STL100 lugs and SST stainless steel tension rods. Finally, these gorgeous drums are topped off by matching maple bass drum hoops with D054 die-cast claw hooks and top-quality Remo drumheads.
