Perfect fit
I had purchased this pedalboard platform to use for my MXR stomp boxes I wanted to run with. I'm running a Fractal Audio FX III through a Fryette LX II Power amp in stereo mode. I also purchased the Rockboard Power block V9 IEC power supply and the so called Power Tray Mounting solution. Usually when we put this stuff together , often we run into major or minor problems.
My first problem was the power supply was too large to mount underneath as it was too long in length for the support braces that were installed by Warwick. I don't recall seeing any information about the power supplies needing to be sized with a given size board by Warwick. If this info exists via description I missed it. So... I removed one of the pedalboard's bottom support arches. It is still plenty stable. So also now unable to install the mounting plate because it connects to both support beams I can use it now either. But.... Once I figured out how I would place the unit in relationship to the buss block, the velcro tape provided worked perfectly. I needed this power supply too as I had 8 items that require power. The case it fits in is very nice. Minus one support beam underneath didn't change it rigidness or strength as it is a smaller unit so I have no flex issues stepping on my devices what so ever. I was able to simply purchase a twin jumper cable to convert two 9 volt outlets to one more 18 volt as I needed 4 18volt outputs. I also have the stereo output from the Chorus connected to the Warwick buss box so if I happen to want to use this pedalboard with any other system this will widen the sound for me if there are two amps. Running through a Fractal I probably won't step on the M117 Flange, or this Yellow Chorus or the delay here. But the Dunlop Preamp, this MXR 10 band EQ and this RR Distortion + surprised me big time running through the front end of my system. Then I slightly back off on the volume pedal and I still have the hot sound but it's quiet when I let go of my guitar which is unheard of with a Distortion + I highly recommend Warwick Powerboard systems. I really like their power supplies. Sweetwater is also a great and fun outlet! Goes without saying. C.J. my sales, go to guy even helped me out nicely upon my purchases.
