$ mixer as a benchmark
I'm using this as a sub-mixer to replace the Bose t4s. It's much cleaner than the Bose. The Bose has the perfect form factor but the aux out are not near as clean as this. I use this for solo stuff too. I was not happy with the usb feeding the main but there is a trick of routing it to the control room the using patch cables to rout the controller room out to a stereo channel for full channel strip control (see pic).
I've had this for a long time and didn't realize just how great this thing is. Clean!! and pretty versatile.

Impulse Buy glad I did
Is it the Xenyx pre-amps? I don't know but everything sounds a lot better through a Behringer mixer IMO. Maybe it's because I used the Behringer XENYX Q1202USB for 10 years before a bit of rain fried it, and I just know the board? I use a Bose Tonematch T8s for my band. It's ok. But on the Bose you really have to work the mic. Get right up to it. If you need to quickly change a setting, say eq or reverb...You have to dial it up. There is nothing like moving a fader, or tuning a knob. You can look at a board like this and dial things in quickly. I use it primarily for solo outdoor gigs, and smaller indoor spaces where the room is nice. There is no EQ on the main channel so it makes it harder to dial in the sound for responsive or really dead rooms where you might want to cut the lows and highs on the mains. You have the channel EQ's which will get you there sort of. I am also using Bose L1 speakers, typically set up behind me. I'll never use the USB Mic thing, probably so I can't speak to that. The compressors are great, However I think this mixer works well. I was worried about noise, because I have a Behringer XENYX X1222USB that was my bands back up mixer. It's unbelievably noisy, unusable really. This is quiet as a lamb, and I can easily get the desired sound for my guitars and vocals. The only complaint is the VU meters don't read the signal correctly. This was the case on my X1222 as well, and I thought it was a defect. I can only get a good read on it while doing the gain stage PFL level set. When everything is live just the first light lights up when I am playing anything, even though the level set showed it hitting 0. Looking around the inter webs it seems this is a common design for these mixers, but maybe I'm wrong, and doing something wrong...I don't think so though, because I am getting sound.

Brand New and Functioning
I received my mixer and everything is functioning properly.
Also, it was thoughtful to add the chocolates and sweets, it helped while setup my equipment with my mixer

The sales team called to follow-up with me which was thoughtful.
I ended the call though because I thought it was a vishing call. I realized the phone number is linked to "sweetwater" company- I forgot. It was thoughtful all the same they called to check-in.

I am happy with my purchase!
Great Mixer!
I was looking for a affordable but yet nice mixer that would last me a while especially as I grow my gear and set up rig. This mixer gave me everything I needed and space to grow!

I've been using this mixer for 3ish weeks and I really like it! I like to make music at home or in a live setting and it accomplishes all of that. With 6 individual channel strips (4 mono, 2 stereo) I have plenty of room to plug in my keyboards, drums (electric), guitars and microphones!

The affects and preamps are pretty good for what you pay for! They do have a separate AUX knob on every channel that is different than the routed FX knob! I love this because I don't have to lose the opportunity of having a monitor send and still using affects on every channel!

I did find the routing for headphones to be a little different. Because there are different options to where you are sending audio on little buttons instead of faders. I was able to figure it out though and I still enjoy using headphones!

One thing I was very sad was the multi tracking function. It is a 2in x 2out which means you can only record 2 channels at the same time to a DAW or computer.

Overall I really enjoy this mixer and I'm excited to keep using it daily!
