Reviews

Perfect for what I needed
I wanted to mix a couple instruments with backing tracks coming from an iPad on an analog board, then send the mix from the board to an AI set as a sound in on my computer for video recording. Thank you for making this!
A Whole New Animal.
Right from the get-go:

1) This thing is nice-as-hell sounding. It sounds great even through my custom-cab KEF floor units. Right now, I'm using the board with my UMC202HD because I need higher rez than what can be achieved with the onboard converter. With balanced inputs, I'm getting very smooth sound.

2) The new pots are designed to maintain channel balance down to *the very lowest levels*. I couldn't achieve this level of control even with my old Mackie board.

3) The phones have a discrete channel, meaning you can zero-out the main level and still get a headphone signal. This represents a complete redesign from the previous-gen Behringer boards.

4) The USB-mode switches are the channel jacks themselves. I like the arrangement better than the button switch. Nice and simple.

5) The onboard converter is LOUD. No problem with signal strength if you want to plug this board directly into a laptop USB port for sound support.

Good mixer for home studio setup.
I am using this to connect a Bluetooth receiver and my HX stomp to headphones for practicing purposes and it does a good job at that. I haven't really noticed anything negative I could say about it, it sits on a desk, and I turn it on and it does the thing I want it to do. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Works Great! But ...
I run 2 sets of studio monitors, headphones, and a mic, so as a stand-alone device for those, these work very well! I had an old one that finally quit after 8 years, so I bought this new unit. Same outstanding quality and performance for an inexpensive piece.
The only reason I gave it a 4 is that the intensity measurement (?) / metering mark (?) rings have vanished from outside the dials!
WHY, Behringer? *laughs*

If you look, there is a 502 USB model that has that feature, but those are discontinued. Ah, well. The Mackie Mix5 looks like a good alternative.
