Massive processing muscle in a compact console
For the Quantum112, DiGiCo packed a lot of processing power into a feature-laden, small-format digital console. The Quantum112 includes a generous 80 input channels, along with 24 aux/subgroup buses, an LR/LCR master bus, and a 12-in/8-out matrix — all with full processing on every channel. You also get 20 Mustard Processing channel strips with emulated tube preamplification, highpass and lowpass filters, a 4-band EQ, four styles of compression, and a gate/ducker. Beyond that, six Spice Racks provide powerful FPGA-fueled insert effects, which include 6-band dynamic multiband compression and expansion and a 6-band dynamic EQ. You also get 24 channels of Nodal Processing, along with 12 graphic EQs and eight FX Rack slots.

A small-format console with plenty of I/O
The DiGiCo Quantum112 is small and lightweight enough to qualify as a standard checked bag option on most flights; however, when it comes to I/O, you wouldn't know it. Its local connections include 16 analog mic/line inputs and eight analog line outputs, equipped with 32-bit Stadius AD/DA for superior sound quality, and two channels of AES digital I/O. The rear panel has built-in 64-in/64-out primary and secondary Dante ports on rugged etherCON connectors. This digital mixer includes four sets of MADI I/O, giving you up to four MADI interfaces or up to two redundant MADI interfaces at 48kHz or two interfaces at 96kHz. You can add a single loop of Optocore with 504 additional audio paths at 48kHz and 96kHz. Additionally, you get 32 channels of UBMADI, permitting you to connect your laptop via USB for multichannel recording and playback. What’s more, the Quantum112’s two dedicated DMI slots make expansion a cakewalk via DiGiCo’s robust selection of interface option cards.
Jam-packed with high-level features
The Quantum112 is teeming with high-end features. That said, it’s a breeze to navigate, courtesy of a 17-inch multi-touch screen with a meter bridge and soft quick-select buttons. You get 18 individual TFT LCDs for displaying channel information and metering, bank information, macros, and more. Lastly, you’ll enjoy comfortable tactile control, thanks to 12 touch-sensitive, motorized 100mm faders. At Sweetwater, we’re duly impressed by the Quantum112’s generous level of hands-on control — especially for such a compact console.
