Mount Acoustic Panels Without Destroying Your Wall

If you're looking for a super-fast way to install your acoustic panels, check out Primacoustic's Push-On Impalers. Installation is as easy as pushing your panels onto a series of sharp, protruding anchors. You can position your panels without worrying about a hanging offset, and butting them together end-to-end is child's play. Best of all, they won't damage your wall. These mounts feature heavy galvanized steel construction with elongated slots for stud mounting. Rather than using adhesive, they attach to your wall with triple-action Cobra Anchors (sold separately). For high-traffic areas, Sweetwater recommends adding a small amount of adhesive between the Push-On Impaler and the panel to lock it into place.

Primacoustic Push-On Impaler Features:

  • Mounts for Primacoustic acoustic panels
  • Installation is as easy as pushing your panels onto a series of sharp, protruding anchors
  • Positioning your panels is easier than hanging a picture
  • No adhesive is placed between the panel and your wall, resulting in minimal wall defacement
  • Made from heavy galvanized steel
  • Accommodates up to 10 pounds
  • Attaches easily to plasterboard, sheetrock, or masonry using triple-action Cobra Anchors (sold separately)
  • Includes 24 mounts

London 12 Accoustic Panels
I had Sonex in my home studio and over the years it started to crumble. I knew I didn't want to put a conventional foam up anymore. I decided to go with the London 12 panels. My studio has absolutely never sounded better. I do VO for television so a nice flat sound is best and that's exactly what I got. They came extremely well packed and they were super easy to put on the wall. The panels are very well made with a nice heavy duty fabric cover. I got the black panels. One tip on these....they come with these "push then pull down" impalers. I opted to spend an extra 40 bucks and get the straight "push on" impalers. Overall they are easier to use, and give you a lot more control over exactly where you hang your panels. I would also think that if you had to move the panels around a little the push on style would do much less damage to the back of the panels over time. I highly recommend these panels.
